מָקוֹםm. (b. h.; קוּם) 1) place. Ab. Zar.8b; Snh.14b המ׳ גורם, v. גָּרַם. Yoma 38a bot. בשמך יקראוך ובמְקוֹמְךָוכ׳ thou shalt be called by what name thou deservest, and given the place due to thee, i. e. be not afraid of human envy.
